Calendar Summary, 2024–2025
From September 6 to May 23, students will be assigned homework to complete for Friday's lesson. The detailed assignment will be indicated on the weekly page, posted above right. There will be no classes on November 29 (Thanksgiving week), December 20 and 27, and April 18, and no assignments will be given for those dates. The tentative Speech Day for the younger classes is Friday, March 21 at our regular meeting place. The exact time TBD.

Books and Book Reports
A format sheet for fiction and non-fiction book reports. You may choose your own book with my approval or find something on this book list for Foundations students. Students may choose a book of their own with the teacher's approval or choose one from this list.
Toward the beginning of the year when we read about the Peloponnesian War, we will be doing the Parthenon Project, which students will be directed to download.
Here is a list of book marks for the Grand Prize. Collect 25 bookmarks and receive a grand prize at the end of the year—or collect all of the ones marked green! The winner will be announced the first week in May. The last day the winner will turn in the bookmarks for a prize!
